it should go under "autohide for slit and toolbar".
i think the toolbar and slit as compile time option is a great idea.
i believe people who don't need these wouldn't need these to hide.
people who need these wouldn't need these to hide either.
regarding Todd's comment,

you can compile on your home directory by ./configure
--prefix=/your/home/dir.
since bb is a quite small program, it would not blow up your quota of
the home directory.
