Considering several remarks I would suggest:
==> to enable a compile option that would give the choice to control
hide/show/autohide for the Slit and the toolbar.
==> once enabled and after compiling balckbox, new options in the
slit menu & the toolbar menu to make them hidden/visible/autohidden after a
delay chosen in the .blackboxrc or ~/blackbox/menu
I would insist that the compile option is at stake when you keep in mind the
concept of low mem footprint wich is & should always be blackbox major
goal
