Nobody has to sell me on the value of Blackbox, but I have a few
questions and rants...
* Why doesn't Netscape honor bb's built-in window placement controls?
Regardless of the session.screen?.windowPlacement value, any new
Netscape window tries to open at somewhere around +5+5, which is a bit
annoying. I haven't noticed this with any other apps, but I have a very
small set of apps I deal with ;).
* Is there an existing placement class that can be used to auto-arrange
windows? I'm thinking back to Win3x days when a child window of progman
could arrange all of the windows in horizontal, vertical, or h+v tiles
and cascades. How hard would it be to implement this?
* I've talked with Jeff and others a bit about this, but when
session.screen?.focusModel is set to SloppyFocus, there is a problem
with reassigning focus to a window when the currently focused window is
destroyed. Again, Netscape is the sorest point of all, when you use the
`Open Location' dialog, punch in the URL, and the Netscape parent window
is not granted focus back automatically.
