Ok... I have received the cables and adapters. This upgrade will allow me
to:

* Remove a 1G SCSI drive that is acting as a terminator.

* Remove a 4G IDE drive that is acting as a boot loader and causing some
occasional problems, forcing the machine to be power-cycled.

* Switch from SCSI-50 cabling to SCSI-68 cabling, which will enable me to
use the SCSI Wide capacity of the drives. This will result in a much
higher access rate to read and write to the drives, especially in the
  RAID configuration.

* Upgrade to Mandrake 7.1 from 6.5. This gives added security as the system
will have a newer distribution with more security fixes, as well as bug-
  fixes.

* Fix an outstanding problem with the RAID configuration.

Date is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday August 9th, at 5:00pm EST. The
downtime is anticipated to be 3-5 hours. Sorry for the short notice, but
I just received the hardware and I want to roll with this and get the
server in peak operating condition.

As usual, if you have any problems, questions, or concerns, please either
drop me an email or a voicemail (I'm mailbox #2 at the number below).
