Well.. after a fairly extensive test of Helix's Gnome (which is a
stepping stone to testing out Nautilis), I've come to one solid realization:
Blackbox is better.
With a ton of apps running (the normail suite of stuff: mozilla, galeon
[i'm testing both of these], licq, everybuddy, rxvt, and anything else i
might happen to run), blackbox comes in at well under half the memory
usage. that's nuts! I have a 128MB system, and helix gnome used all of
it, and then some swap!
oh well... i like the new gdm, and so i use it, set to .xsession, so it
loads blackbox... :)
Just wanted to commend the developers of blackbox, and a damn fine wm!
