placing windows in bb

anyone know how (or if it's possible) to place a window in a specific place and
on a specific workspace.  With most programs I can use the --geometry option to
place the window, but I can't place items in different workspaces.  I would also
like to be able to place programs that don't have the --geometry option built
in.
