I used to run Kpanel with bb, however I just got sick of it, because
there was nothing it did that I really needed. It occurs to me now that
there was one nice thing. Screensavers. The KDE Matrix Screensaveris
quick and small, and pleasant to look at. However since i'm not running
kpanel I don't get the screensaver automatically everytime I run X.
Instead I have to Kcontrol, go to screensaver properties and hit
"apply". After doing this the screensaver comes on after 2 minutes of
being idle. Is there anyway this can be setup without running kconrol?
