The .Xdefaults file only contains variables; what variables it sets are
up to the user and the application. Netscape Communicator has literally
hundreds of *variables*, some with *dozens* of options. If you want to
see what's possible, have a look at http://x.themes.org/ or
http://www.dotfiles.com/ for some nifty, not-so-nifty, and flat-out-lame
specimens.
