Let me just remind you, this is the blackbox list, not the aterm
list.  Aterm not only has a comprehensive manpage, but its own web
site.  I would suggest you look there.  However, I will answer quickly 
your question on transparency.  Its -tr, not +tr.  Also, both blackbox and
bsetroot have manpages.
