Hi *
My so beloved windowmanager crashes (signal 11 caught, aborting, dumping
core) rather frequently on me these days. (almost twice a week.) Updating
bbkeys to 0.3.5 did not help.
Every time the crash occurs when I have lots of windows open on different
workspaces, and it looks like the crash comes when I just switch
workspaces too fast without waiting for all windows to be redrawn.
I use Blackbox 0.61.1 with the (hand edited and I think innocent) nogap
patch (which prevents Blackbox from placing windows too far from the edge
of the screen when you use edgeSnapThresHold) with bbkeys 0.3.5. I have
edgeSnapThresHold set to 4. I am using the cthulhain style that comes with
bb 0.61.1. AFAICR all crashes occurred while using that style.
I run X 3.3.6 very pretty on a Pentium 75. So Blackbox must stay the wm of
my choice. Does anybody have the same experience??? Can anybody perhaps
help me???
Cheers/Wilbert
