For the past eight months, I had numerous blackbox (0.60.0, 0.60.2,
0.60.3, 0.61.0) hangs/crashes and high load averages (7+) when using
blackbox. (My load averages were low -- below 0.5 and I never had any
crashes/problems when using other window managers.) I also had load
average spikes when I changed or used some styles compared to other
styles.

Well anyways, as far as I can tell, for the past week my load average has
been below 0.50 and I haven't noticed or had any problems.

I upgraded my NetBSD 1.4.2 system to 1.5_BETA (also from a.out to ELF).
XFree86 was changed to a ELF version, although it is the same version --
it is still 3.3.6, (protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6300)
Release Date: December 20 1999. But it does have a different release
date; the problems were with Release Date: January 8 1999.

I am not sure where or what exactly made the change and fixed my problems.
(I wish I could find a CHANGES file for NetBSD's X changes.) But anyways
blackbox is now running great (as it does/did on my other systems).
