Ok.
In case you forgot I was trying to install BBox 0.61.0 on my Sparc/Solaris 8
machine using gcc to compile.
Here are the results thus far.
SUGGESTED:Use -fpermissive during config. RESULTS:Does not stop on errors
about not being recursive for X11 during the make process. But will stalls
when I try to start blackbox.
SUGGESTED:Get the latest version of BlackBox 0.61.1. RESULTS:Still Complains
about X11 recursiveness...and I am able to start blackbox...but the display
is mangled. (meaning: that I can see the colors and I can start up apps like
netscape with no probs...but the menus are not viewable and the colors in
headers of the menus are not coming through as they should.)
SUGGESTED:Use egcs to compile. RESULTS: Got rid of my recursive errors. But
the display was still the same.
SUGGESTED:export OW_WINDOW_MANAGER=blackbox; openwin -dev /dev/fb0 defdepth
24 RESULTS: Openwin was unable to connect to the Xserver.
SUGGESTED:send xdpyinfo for viewing. RESULTS:

That is all I have...any more ideas?
