I'm busy as we speak back-porting some code from my new development
tree to work with the 0.6x.x series; this includes a decent number of
bugfixes. Once I get it all working again (hopefully by tomorrow) I'll
put up a snapshot. With any luck it should run better than 0.61.1.
If you'd like to help now, though, you could check if the crash produced
a core file, and if so run gdb on it to get a backtrace.
