My two cents (it's about all the aussie dollar is worth now anyway :) ...
I just switched to bb from sawfish for this very reason - it got bloated
and feature creep had well and truly set in. I mean I needed to install
gnome just get the latest version!!
On the other hand, if it never changes, even for good idea's people will
complain! Kinda like being caught between a rock and a hard place :)
I can't remember who said it, but in a previous post someone stated that
if you like features from another WM _use_ that WM! Adding features is
fine, as long as they are keeping in the "spirit" of bb - trying to make
it behave like another WM seems quite counter-productive.
