switching desktops

Hi,

I am new to the mailing list and fairly new to blackbox. I followed the
documenation carefully but i am unable to get a key binding to work for
switching between desktops. The default is "Control" but it doesn't seem
to work. I tried adding "control+left" but that doesn`t work either. Can
anyone give me a few pointers with this? Thanks....
