I came from E and it was weird at first, but I got a 3 button mouse and
the icons are accessible faster that way than with an iconbox. I'm no BB
developer, but the idea is minimalism. That's what's great about it. It
looks like dynamite, goes lik a bat out of hell, and, well, enough
cliches... An inconbox, in the BB view, is clutter. But that doesnt mean
someone can't do one as an add on like there are several already.
