This is a quick and dirty that works if you normally login via kdm or kdm2:
Open a virtual terminal: Type
export WINDOWMANAGER=/usr/local/bin/blackbox #Or wherever it is
startx -- :2
This doesn't really do what you wanted; it opens a paralell X-session.
You can switch between kde and blackbox by typing CTRL+ALT+F7 respective
CTRL+ALT+F8.
If you use SuSE you can switch wm with dyde, infact you can choose dyde as
window manager in kdm(2).
