Hello,

I am running Red Hat 6.2 on an AMD k6-350 CPU. The blackbox version is 0.51.something,
because that's the RPM that comes
in the Red Hat 6.2 Power tools.

However, I understand that to use the coolest features and
the latest bbtools, which would really make my life easier,
I have to upgrade blackbox.

The question is: which is the newest STABLE version of
blackbox that can be run on such a distro/CPU pair, and where is the corresponding RPM?

By "can be run" I mean that yes, though guys as we are
are not afraid to spend hours/days to compile/debug/
patch/install manually/etc.., and yes, that is fun.

But I have a lot of work due shortly to run on
that PC these days, and, at least now, cannot afford
hacking.

In short, I need to know with the highest possible degree
of confidence that the new version will work right away.
This also because I boot in runlevel 5 due to a fixed freq.
monitor, so if the wm screws up I have to borrow another
monitor from somebody....

Thanl you in advance,

                                Marco
