I've successfullying installed BlackBox on several of my Linux systems running RedHat 7.0 and 7.1 and Yellow Dog 1.2.1. However, when trying to install it on my office workstation results in the following error: (snip) checking for X... libraries /usr/X11R6/lib, headers /usr/X11R6/include checking for dnet_ntoa in -ldnet... no checking for dnet_ntoa in -ldnet_stub... no checking for gethostbyname... yes checking for connect... yes checking for remove... yes checking for shmat... yes checking for IceConnectionNumber in -lICE... yes checking for XOpenDisplay in -lX11... no I have verified that the XFree86-devel-4.0.1-1 rpm package is indeed installed. And as you can see, the configure script is finding the X headers. Any ideas? Jamin W. Collins
