Hi all,
I thought it might interest you that I just released "bbweather", a
small bbtool-app to display the current weather conditions.
It was actually nothing more but an exercise for me to see how bbtools
work, so I based it heavily on "bbdate". I was inspired by wmWeather,
from where I got the perl-script to retrieve and parse the weather-data.
I've been using wmWeather for a long time with WindowMaker, but now that
I've switched to BlackBox, I felt like I'd rather have something in that
style. Thanks to John Kennis and Michael Henderson for providing the
code base and the inspiration.
This is a beta-release and I want to improve on it eventually, so all
hints, help, critique and comments are highly welcome. You can get it
from http://www.netmeister.org/apps/bbweather/index.html (or direct
download: http://www.netmeister.org/apps/bbweather-0.1.tar.gz).

P.S.: Re bbdate: With gcc (g++) version 3.0, there was a problem in
Image.cc - there are some shorts declared that are called "or" and
"nor". It seems that these are keywords or macros with gcc 3.0, so that
they give a parsing error. Just thought whoever has trouble compiling
them should know that it's sufficient to rename those guys and all's
peachy again.
