BBKeys can do this... although I think you cannot select the TAB key (maybe I
missed how to do it).
As for the "iconifyed" question, I also belive it's the only way.

You have BBRun. I dont have the icon option, but on my menu I have:
[exec] (Run...) {bbrun -w}
(WindowMaker style...)
