I've been meaning to bring that question up for a while, but kept
getting sidetracked with other `stuff' (read: I've avoided the issue to
keep the creature feep contingent quiet).

For good or ill, I'm rather set in my ways as to where apps get placed
in my workspaces & slit. As a direct consequence of this, often only a
strip down the right side of said workspaces are available for accessing
the root menu. When descending menus, I've found the accordian-like
behaviour (root menu opens near right edge of the workspace, 1st sub
opens to the left, 2nd sub opens to the right - overlapping the menu 2
levels up, ad nauseum) to be, at best, thoroughly annoying to navigate.

In short, being able to control menu.. erm.. inertia?.. dynamics?..
would be something I could & would put to immediate use.
