I had read the archive but I thought that the problem was between the two
different patchs so I make a new post abot it . . . but I will give it a try
(as you said) to a couple of diferent strips (I proved -p0) but I don't
know because the problem wasn't that the patch app didn't found files. The
problem was that they genertated hunk files, a couple of .rej (I sended
them). Well that's it. I will wait some answer, maybe

I had the exact same trouble and made an earlier post (check the mailing
list archive) but I was completely ignored.
I know how to apply patches and I don't need a tutorial, or to read the
patch man pages. I can get the patch you described to work fine, but only
if I apply it first before applying a separate patch (again see the mailing
list archive). I would be interested in the answer to this one as well. I
figured perhaps since it was so recently released that they just had not got
around to fooling with bugs and want not.
