A few days ago, I posted a longish message about email problems. I temporarily dealt with the problem by forwarded mail from the affected account to another that wasn't.
This evening, I started up fetchmail and bbmail, and not only did they work properly, but the mail that had "disappeared" arrived immediately. I had found a fetchmail daemon running yesterday and killed it. Fetchpop is off my system. If anyone has any idea why this happened, I'd like to hear it.
