I've seen this raised in the history, but I didn't see much in the way
of details regarding the problem.

I've been using blackbox with slackware for about a month now, as has my
roomate. We both have similar setups, but he has an nvidia graphics
card wheras I have an ati. We're both running slackware 8.0.

Every now and then, usually (but not always) when switching desktops
(doesn't have to be desktop 2 necessarily) X shuts down with the
following message:

Could not open blackbox style file
blackbox: signal 11 caught
shutting down
aborting... dumping core

From what I could tell from previous mailing list posts, this only
seems to happen to people running slackware 8.0. I tried removing the
option "Focus window on workspace change" (I *think* that was one
suggestion to fix it) and that didn't help.

If there are any other details I can provide, please let me know. It
seems to happen most when I'm running some java programs or xine (maybe
it happens when there's a larger load on system resources?). It's also
somewhat difficult to reproduce - it'll run stable for a few days and
then all of a sudden sig 11, but it's happened to me at least a dozen
times in the past few weeks. My roomate has just stopped using multiple
desktops and it runs stable for him now.
