I have the same problem you had, but I don't understand your solution.

The rpm installed fine but executing bbconf resulted in a segfault and when trying to 
compile the source configure complained about not finding qt-headers and libs. I have 
both the qt and qt-devel rpm installed so that shouldn't be a problem.

Removing make doesn't seem to be a very serious way to solve this...

I don't know if it's because I'm stupid or swedish, but an deeper explanation would be 
appreciated ;)
