I went back to try it again after getting your message, and noticed that right after the keycode there's a bit that reads "(keysym 0xffe7, SunFront)" (this is also how xev treats Mod/CTRL/Shift). D'oh! I put "SunFront" as the KeyToGrab in bbkeysrc and everything's working fine. Thanks for the help, and for bbkeys!
