Toolbar vs. Slit: i would definately like to see the toolbar and slit remain as they are -- separate. The toolbar and slit both serve different functions and it'd be silly to combine them into one big clunky uni-bar...
New feature suggestions: i dont know if anyone would like this (and i think some of it has already been suggested), but i think it'd be cool to add some more functionality to the toolbar... here are some ideas: it'd be nice to have something happen when a click (or dbl-click) happens on the workspace name or the active window name. perhaps when the workspace name is clicked on, a list of workspaces could be popped up... and when it's double-clicked on, blackbox could switch to the next workspace. same with the active window name. a click could bring up a list of all windows on that workspace, and a double-click would switch to the "next" window (ala ALT+TAB) or perhaps let the user decide what to happen when a click (or double-click) is recieved to the toolbar .bbrc session.screen0.toolbar.windowName.click: showWindowList session.screen0.toolbar.windowName.click: nextWindow ... session.screen0.toolbar.workspaceName.doubleClick: showWindowList session.screen0.toolbar.workspaceName.doubleClick: nextWorkspace But that is probably a MASSIVE undertaking, and i'm overstepping my bounds as a mere user to suggest such a sordid thing. :-) just some ideas to toss around.
