I have not looked closely, but I do believe it to be a design decision leading to a bug. When blackbox starts it asks "how many Screens are there" and takes over each one in a loop. So there needs to be either a command line flag or a rc file option (maybe both) that says "I only want one screen". Would you mind submitting this as a feature request on sf.net?
