but this means you will spend at least 5 seconds moving things in the slit by
hand once X loads.  You lose the time either way.  My laptop has had X running
for some 40 days now, so 5 seconds is nothing.

Window Maker keeps a little 'database' of window information and actually
launches the dock app for you next time.  This is how it puts them in the right
place.  I am not to keen on adding that type of code to blackbox.  In the end
it is just approximation and you never get it right.  'which rxvt should i put
in the top corner?'.  You end up with all of these heuristics based on title, X
class, binary name, etc.  not pretty.
