I am experiencing frequent crashes on blackbox.

I am using nedit to execute scripts. This somehow causes the
window manager to crash.

I get this error message:

Failed to open Catalogue, using default message
BS screen::Parsemenufile:[stylesdir/stylesmenu] error,
/home/paul/.blackbox/style does not exist.
/usr/X11R6/bin/blackbox: signal 11 caught
shutting down
aborting..dumping core.

I checked, and in fact I don't have a file
"home/paul/blackbox/style." In fact, I don't even have the
directory "/home/paul/.blackbox".

I am using blackbox 0.61.1. I am running Mandrake 8.1 on a pentium I box.

When I posted this message on another mailing list, it was
suggested that I might have bad memory. However, since that time
I have switched to using icewm window manager, and have not
experienced a single crash in two weeks.

When I searched on the web for this problem, I came across a
known bug in blackbox. Blackbox crashed when you tried to close
out a window because it couldn't find the default window.
However, this bug was over 2 years old, and I just assumed that
it had been fixed by now.

I really miss blackbox, so any advice would help!

Paul
