I have been able to reproduce this pretty frequently -- although now AOL
won't let me log in, because I have been logging in and out too
frequently.....

It seems that when you log on and then iconify the buddy list, wait
about 15 seconds, un-iconify the buddy list and exit the program via
File | Close (I haven't verified the X will cause the same problem) it
will cause the "unnamed" window.

I could get the "unnamed" window to close using one or a combination of
the following. I couldn't quite pin down the exact combination:

1. Attempt to open GAIM again (have no fear, it probably will not
reappear yet), minimize the unnamed window, wait about 15 seconds,
un-iconify the unnamed window and you should now have the full GAIM login
window along with the unnamed window. Quit out of GAIM and the unnamed
window should disappear.
2. Along with the above, before iconifying the GAIM window, I could open
another GAIM login window (although I never tried to login with this
second window). Exit out of the second GAIM window and go about
iconifying the unnamed window and then uniconifying.
3. I could never get rid of the unnamed window without iconifying the
unnamed window and it seemed most of the time I could not get an
additional GAIM login without the iconifying either.

Hope this helps, also, I am on the CVS version as of March 30 @ 11:00 AM
EST.

Thanks,
Paul
