I did finally get a good pause time for the -p option (somewhere between 16 and 20 seconds when I load it via .xinitrc; less than 8 if I do it manually after everything else is loaded; theese are the reasons I want to start it on loading X!), and I have it shade into workspace 4... in a line: bblaunch -s -w 4 -p 20000 evolution --no-splash This works very well, actually -- tho' I wouldn't mind an iconify feature (programs like gaim are nice to start iconified)...
