I had a different approach, to ignore the slit and use the -s and -p
options to just put the various bbtools where I want. My results...

bbdate - After about 25 launches I have it right where I want it, next
to the right of the time in the Toolbar

                                 bbdate -s -p +866+840 &

bbpal - The -s option still gives me a Titlebar.
The -h options says that -geometry is supported, but I was only
able to get it to launch at the bottom left (no args)
or the
top left (any args, e.g.: -geom 64x64+100+0)
                                 The -display option is ignored.

bbpager - I wanted it to be aligned vertically at the top right just
bbpal. Couldn't get the -geometry option to work.

Guess I'll be checking out xtoolwait...

:-)
