I see. So I would use (say) alt+F2 to go to workspace 2 and then meta+tab to go back to where I came from and meta+tab would send me back to 2 and so on and so on. interesting. I usually just hit F2 then F4 then F2 or whatever. But I could this being handy for someone. It would require the switcher to keep a state around about what workspace was I just on. Does not sound too terribly hard although you have to watch out for 1 -> 3 -> 1; delete 3; 1 -> 3.
