I apologise for being off-topic, but this is the only resource that I could think of besides google which hasn't proved very useful so far.
I am thinking of going back to Windows (for specific programs, I need for Uni (Access & VB)) and so I can play games; however, I do not want to lose my beloved blackbox! I have read previously on the list that some people have tried compiling blackbox under cygwin, how sucessful have you been? I would like to replace my shell with the cywin/xfree server / blackbox, and I have found documentation as to how to do this, however, as this is rather new teritory for me I am curious as to if this will affect how windows based applications run (or if they will run at all!). Final question, and I know that its very windows specific, but is it possible to change the shell for a given user only?? If this is too off-topic for the list, I apoligise, however, if you have any comments of knowledge as to where I can look; please email of the list (if its off-topic, otherwise share the wealth!). -- Regards, John Kennison Student (Bachelor of Business Information Systems) 0421 987 910 The views and/or opinions expressed in this email may not represent those of Adelaide Central Mission.
