Hmm, and I'd always assumed this was a bug in the Linux version of VNC (as I've only used it with Blackbox). I've not (yet) tried any of the alphas but having just installed checkinstall I've taken the plunge. As an aside I recently installed the 0.90pre4 version of MPlayer and full screen <==> window works flawlessly in both gui & commandline mode - in both 0.62 and 0.65alpha7 versions of Blackbox. I did have fullscreen problems with MPlayer 0.60 which I was running previously. One oddity that made itself obvious after a Windowmanagers...Restart was the way windows are maximised. I have the toolbar at the bottom middle and the slit on the bottom right. Usually I only have bbkeys docked there, with the mini icon. That stands slightly taller than the toolbar and always got partially obscured by a maximised window, which extended down to the top of the toolbar. Now windows maximise down to the top of the slit - not as 'maximised' as before. Is this a bug or have I missed a new configuration option? Keep up the good work, it's much appreciated.
