I noticed that it only happens to me if i try and run OO from the BB menu when i first get into BB, with no other windows open.
If i open up ROX and click on a document, OO will come up no problem. If i then close all windows and run OO from the BB menu, no problem. Occasionally, OO will bring down BB after i've been using BB for a while, with a bunch of windows open, but one (so far) foolproof way for me to bring down BB is to freshly log into BB and run it from the bb menu. Im running Mandrake. I hope this info will help...
