so I am a little confused and would like some clarification.  Without this
change the SGI X server basically tells the X application "here I support the
following depths, choose one".  Sounds like fun.  Time to read the ORA books
again (-:

see the man page, the entire menu syntax is defined.  What you want is '[nop]',
i.e. no-op, do nothing.

man I thought we had a better window manager here than that.  We had to
struggle to beat OpenLook?  I might as well give up .....
