Yes, I could have been more clear.  I'm running
0.65.0alpha9.

I can make the change to the beta to see if it is better.

I'm hesitant to report problems, since the software that's
giving me problems is licensed in such a way that I doubt
any else has access to it..  I know how difficult debugging
such a thing would be.  :(
