"doesn't seem to work" is REALLY vague. Might as well start off with "my car is making this odd noise". The versions are important, but more important is a detailed description of what is failing and how. Use a screenshot if you think it would help. Also, please grab beta2 and try it. I read the ICCCM.ps from X with ghostview a few times a week and have not had any problems.
