I have read the twm, wmaker, and E code. Near as I can tell -- nothing. Remember, the wm should NOT matter here as the hints are set before the wm gets a chance to change anything. What I would like to hear first is that after simply exiting blackbox, starting another wm, and running JBuilder (or any offending application) everything is fine. This would help me confirm this is a problem in blackbox (or jave <-> blackbox) and not a bug in the jvm or other software. Currently I am working on adding heavy debug messages to the Window class which I will send to this list. Hopefully this will show the discrepancy.
