so here is the issue that brings this up. Autohide support in the slit. If the slit and the toolbar are both TopCenter or BottomCenter you will only see the toolbar when they are hidden. It becomes impossible to find the slit to bring it back or even remove the autohide option. So my initial thought was "hey, nobody really uses these two positions for the slit". If this turns out to be bogus the next process will be "ignore autohide if there is a conflict". Which is a little more difficult to code but manageable I think.
