In mho.. People are simply way too sensitive. I like to think of the internet as the Wild West in a way. People say whatever they want, and it's up to us to realize that we have every right to disagree, but *no* right to censor the views of others.
In fact, I actually enjoy this freewheeling kind of environment. There's bravado, arrogance, and insensitivity. But if you dig deep there's also a lot of intelligence. Take my own experiences for example: I've learned more from this website about BB and related software because of the matter-of-fact, direct and unadulterated information available. Not because it caters to the whims or feelings of any particular individual. Besides, every KNOWS that many people just think Microsoft technology sucks. Gates' is a genius as a businessman. But not as an OS developer. Since this isn't a list for philosophical argument, I'll leave it at that.
