Sorry to hear you're having the problem too - I've been plagued by
this same issue for about a year and a half. It's been a real bummer,
since I love Quicksilver and have used it for ages... I just can't run
it on my PowerBook without my desktop inevitably locking up,
forbidding me to drag icons.

Out of curiosity, I pulled Quicksilver b54 back out and installed it
earlier today - alas, no go. Same problem.

I haven't found a solution yet either... if anyone has one out there,
we'd make you our hero and crown you king (of all the wild things)!

Well, that sounds good! Thanks for replying George; I was beginning to think I was the only one with this problem.

I had to use my wife's Mac recently as mine was away being fixed, and I booted her machine from my backup so I could have all my docs, applications etc. and Quicksilver ran perfectly for days. Soon as I got my machine back, it started doing it again. Her machine is a G4, mine's a G5, and we're both running OS X 10.4.11. I wish I could stop this happening, Quicksilver is SO useful ...

best wishes
