I don't know if you have resolved this or not, but I have gotten that proxy object back. I am not sure exactly what action brought it back, so try the following.
Go to the catalog preferences and select quicksilver. Use the rescan source button on the bottom bar it should find more proxy options. If this doesn't work try installing the finder module plugin and rescanning the proxy objects: 1. Go to the plug-ins preference. 2. Hold the option key and click on all plug-ins (the finder module is not displayed otherwise). 3. Install the Finder Module. 4. Rescan the proxy objects.
