I don't know how to do this with QS making use of your Saft keywords. However the web search plugin does this and combined with triggers and current selection proxy objects can make searching very quick and is my most common usage of Quicksilver. I've completely described how this works in the Web Searches section of the manual:

Hi folks, I guess I'm just too dumb to get this working, maybe somebody has a hint for me - thanks in advance! I'm using Safari with Saft (other tools can do similiar) where I just have to enter "g foo" into address field and a google search for "foo" is triggered after enter, "imdb Iron Man" and a search on the imdb is triggered etc. (first word is a keyword which Saft uses to replace the text with an URL, and the following words are input as parameters). What I now want is a solution for entering this text in Quicksilver which sends the text to Safari and puts it into the address field and triggers the input - because I don't always wanna have a Safari window open - and 50% of my inputs for my Mac start with QuickSilver 8-) then this would be raised to ... 85% ;-) I tried various quicksilver steps. For example I tried with entering a point for getting the "text input mode" and several actions but nothing works like I wish it would. Sometimes the events are too special because they want to "search with google" etc. but I just wanna have the text in Safari's address field - followed by a return for "GO" ;-). Maybe somebody just knows a tool (maybe a widget ?!) which is just waiting for some inputs and just gives them to Safari (not automatically to google!! just to Safari because then Saft has to take over. Maybe it's just a question of a short applescript ... I hope you get the idea ;-) Greetz from Munich, Tom
