Works fine for me as well. Just to confirm: my trigger is 'show playing track' -> run and I'm using GROWL (installed the plugin) and under iTunes in preferences I have 'monitor recent tracks', and 'display track notifications' ticked. Just tried using the QS notification handler and that works for me as well..
