I've added the script to that topic. Cheers. As for links / html, Google parses anything beginning with http:// as an url so there's no need to use the '<a href' tag :)
I still think a better solution to Google Groups and file uploading needs to be found. If there much feedback, I would be happy to host a forum, which would be a bit easier to use.
