I spent a lot of time today trying to get this work. Maybe it's just me, but there are a couple things that don't add up in this discussion.
1) I was never able to drag any mailbox from the left hand column of the Mail.app to the Custom pane in the Catalog. It would just snap back, like it wasn't possible to do. Tried on both local mailboxes as well as IMAP mailboxes. 2) Based on what was said above: "Aha, you need to drag the inbox.imapmbox and sent.imapmbox to the catalog!" I take that as meaning that the person went into the ~/Library/Mail/ IMAP-*/ directory and dragged the actual file system folder for the corresponding mailbox into the custom Catalog list. While that does work, it seems to circumvent the actual Mail.app application and is just working on files in the file system for all intents and purposes, which could have problems or unintended side effects. For one the "Move to mailbox..." doesn't allow me to move to any of the mailboxes. And if you were to move it to another folder, Mail.app would be unaware of it's move since that was just a file system move. Does this sound right? Thanks, Rich
